Isla Mujeres

Your guide to the island

About the Island

Isla Mujeres is a small island just off the coast of Cancún — roughly five miles long and less than a mile wide. It's known for its crystal-clear turquoise water, colorful streets, unhurried pace, golf-cart culture, and rich marine life. Once you cross the water, the world slows down. The island has no traffic lights, no high-rises, and (arguably) the most beautiful sunsets in the Caribbean. It's the kind of place people visit for a day and end up staying a week.
